Is the DQ-Dardanelle game tomorrow Varsity or JV?

These games have been postponed do to a death in the DQ community. They will be varsity matches though, when they are rescheduled.

JVB: Vilonia 0-0 Morrilton

VG: Vilonia 7-1 Morrilton

VB: Vilonia 2-1 Morrilton. Couple reds were shown in this one. Edit: Vilonia's red was changed to a yellow after the match because the referee "pulled the wrong card because the yellow was in the wrong pocket." Or something like that.

3-1 doesn't do justice to a very competitive and back and forth VB match. Not to take away from Dardanelle, they are a fantastic team. At the end of the day, Dardanelle made fewer mistakes than Clarksville and deserved their win. Being a non-conference game, the result isn't a big deal (not to discredit Dardanelle) at the end of the day, but this was a great match that will have both teams better prepared come conference and state tournament time.

Clarksville had chances early on and Dard GK turned them away. Dard missed a couple early off set pieces that kept it 0-0 until Dard finally caught Cville with a counter and slotted it home. 2nd half Dard controlled things a little better and their pressure resulted in the 2nd goal and a absolute bomb from 25 yards by #10 resulted in the 3rd. Cville goal came from a PK that was a questionable call and I'm not sure it was in the box but, that happens sometimes. In all a very good game to watch and Cville is the fastest team Dard has played in a few yrs and one of the fastest teams I've ever seen. They are however extremely small. Both teams will benefit from this match greatly.

Van Buren- 5
Greenwood- 0

As amazing as it sounds, game wasn't as close as the score indicated. Greenwood GK had three or four highlight reel saves.

wow. what happened with CAC boys?? Not as good as last year??

Not sure why that is said after a 5-0 win this week and 9-0 win last week.  Ha.

Boys did lose some good talent due to graduation but have a few strong freshmen and the current seniors are leading the team very well.

3/8

LRCA Girls 1 Cabot 0

LRCA had three starters out with injury, so it was a really good game for them.

Great game throughout but thought Cabot was the better team second half, just couldn't put the ball in the goal. LRCA GK was incredible the entire game.  She had at least 10 solid saves including two or three highlight saves.

When is CAC going to play someone? Must get boring.
They could have a tough game tonight against Robinson. Both teams look about equal. CAC has more skill but Robinson looks hot and could pose a threat to them if they keep it close or take the lead.

Agree with this assessment. CAC has many more club trained players than Robinson which typically equates to more skill. Robinson may be more physical. If soccer is played and called appropriately by the refs, I see this one being close but going to CAC.

Badger

Robinson has more D1 talent on its roster than any soccer team in the state.

So Robinson has two D-I players?

3...well, 2 officially, 1 is still a junior who hasn't committed.

And Heritage still dropped double digits on them.

Believe CAC scored late to get the win.

That's only because Robinson wasn't used to touching the ball with their feet.

All jokes aside, Heritage has the two best players in the state not named Lalo.  Look forward to seeing where they end up.

That game was very close. CAC started the game great but Robinson came back strong. Game could've gone either way really. Can't wait to see them play again.
