Well they did make it to the finals unlike a bunch of teams. Regardless of the outcome. I mean 13-1 wasn't bad. A bunch of teams would just love to make it past the 1st round. Probably wasting my breath trying to talk to u lol especially since ur sick
Especially since he's sick lol lol good one thabeast428  ;D

After all that young man has been through its awesome to see him doing so well.... Wasn't a fan of the kicker trying to trip him and then some SMU players all laughing about him trying to trip him. I don't really see anything funny about trying to trip someone running full speed when they do not expect that coming. You can tell Louisiana Tech is hungry & wants this bad..... and SMU does not even care to be there. Bowl games can show a teams true grit and LA Tech is showing it right now.

What are they doing to the football field? Turf maybe?

Addressing the low spots and recrowning/reseeding the field.

It will still be natural turf.

Mulerider4Life

From a former player, I heard they will never turf the field. He said the coach wants playing on turf to be a special opportunity for championships and things.

Turf has been on a wish list, but the new basketball arena (which also replaced the football rest rooms, football ticket booth and football concession stand) was ahead of turf.  The football lighting, press box and visitors stands are also new.

There would probably be more community (and maybe AD) support for a track (also a wish list item) rather than artificial turf.

Now if you'd like to make a $750,000 - $1,000,00 donation............... ;D

I hoping for a track and field events area.  Maybe we would have more than two competing at the collegiate level.

CJ placed 3rd in long jump, 6th in tripple jump, 4th in the 100M, and ram the 1st leg on the 1st place 4x1 team for SAU at the GAC Championship last weekend.   He was selected 1st team All Conference for the long jump and 2nd team All Conference for the 100M

Not bad for a college Freshman from a school with no track facilities at all.

He get's most of that from the football training.

I just posted a fact.

For a 2A team with no track, they did pretty well.

So if he would have be enrolled at Prescott, he would probably be running track for the Hogs........

My post had nothing to do with the next cycle's assignment.

During the current cycle, JC was a 2A school that the AAA acknowledged was incorrectly placed in 3A due to a misunderstanding in how the ADE changed the ADE's data reporting.  Had the AAA realized and accounted for the change in ADE data format, JC would have been put in 2A for 2016-2017 and 2017-2018.

SR30

Oh that whole it's the AAA's fault we aren't champions at everything.. I gotcha

Nope, it's just math.

I think the last two years the Dragons did pretty well during their visit to 3A.

Hopefully they'll do as well or better back down among schools their own size.

NECC enrollment is controlled by the NECC board.  NECC students are enrolled due to siblings already being enrolled or lottery.

Both JC and El Dorado are under seperate, long-standing desegregation orders.  All transfers between the schools have historically required release by the resident district's board.
