Bay barely remains 1A.  If it weren't for football playing schools that are smaller than them, they would move up this cycle.

No they wouldn't....They are 10 students smaller than the 48th school in 2A(well in reality it's 46th ranked school due to the 2 private schools)...

When will they announce how the conferences will break down for this cycle?

Any word on appeals yet?  I know they have to be submitted by next Wednesday (15th).

Actually Bay would have to move up to 2A if they played football.  All football schools have to play 2A and up..........there are no 1A football schools.  Prime example of this rule, Augusta and Midland are 1A schools based on their enrollment, but because they play football, they are classified as 2A schools.  But based on their enrollment and because they don't play football, they remain in 1A...

That's changing the argument... he said the football schools are why they didn't move uo. You've now changed it to they would move up if they had football, which is a given

And.....he's still saying they wouldn't move up even if they played football, which is wrong.  I wasn't trying to "change" the argument that wasn't an argument to start with.  Just stating the facts.  if they played football they would have to move up to 2A.  If they wanted to keep basketball, baseball and softball in 1A, they would have to petition the AAA to remain in the lower class for those sports.
