Haven't really saw the 8th grade much but the 9th grade will be special. Dey will put up tons of points. We have great skill players n a neice size o n d line. We have 3 backs DAT will rotate n big wr for 9th graders. Its much like our SR high team. If our DB`s play good we will be good

White Hall 13 Malvern 7, only 2 quarters played.  Got some kinks to be worked out, especially in the kicking game, but the defense looked good.

Left the wynne game in the third quarter and the score was 42-0. Offense looks good but the defense really impressed a lot of us. Best looking defense I have seen in years. Even though we were playing searcy I was very impressed. Looking forward to the start of the season.

Sheridan at Lakeside last night. 1st half was both teams taking a scripted number of plays then changing sides. Second half was 2 live quarters.

Lakeside had me worried during the first half, Sheridan basically had their way with our defense. I found out later that we had been prepping for the same offense Sheridan has run in the past, but this year they changed to a double slot-option kind of offense. Worked real well till we made some adjustments.

During the 2 live quarters Lakeside was able to keep Sheridan from scoring and put up 14 points themselves. One on the ground and one through the air if I remember correctly.

I feel much better about Lakesides chances this season after the scrimmage.
