Never had. What industries are in Malvern? What is the average income compared to other cities? What are the demographics like? Magnet Cove, Glen Rose, and Poyen have all grown because of the flight from Malvern.

Perhaps Glen Rose has grown because a few families have transferred their kids from Malvern, however MC has grown because of the out flow of people from Hot Springs moving into the area, etc. You can live a nice life in that area of the state and still have all the amenities required by being so close to Hot Springs and really not that far from Little Rock either. As for Poyen, they have grown because Sheridan is basically pouring into that school district. Most kids that live out in the Country or have issues for one reason or another at Sheridan end up graduating at Poyen.

Just weird that you would speak as an authority on living in Malvern when you clearly are not.

Perhaps you are sounding a bit jealous of the small towns with great teams surrounding Malvern?? Malvern won how many Games in the last few years maybe 5 and that is being generous. I know when Bauxite played them last year they didn't have but like 5 people in the stands and the Bauxite side was full. How about trying to get the community involved;  parents, teachers, School Administrator's, ect....

It's the school and the fun raisers that should be getting out there, getting the community involved. I am not being rude but we done it when my son played for Glen Rose. Not one person on his 4 years of High School was there any Malvern transfers. I'm just saying.
