so I have read where he is 180 and 198 which one is it? lol...
he is a legit 198 just like Miller is a legit 290.

STUNNA

I thought Bret was the best pure wide receiver to come through warren.

AirWarren

As a senior for Tenner, Bret was listed as 6'3 190 lbs.

He was also an army all American, parade all American, and a two time state champion.

prHOG13

Warren guys

do y'all have a DL that is the same class as Burks (soph next year) that has high D1 potential?

yes we do!

STUNNA

Burks is the first in state freshman that Bielema has offered since being at the helm... pretty impressive!!!

dc24

It's hard to rank those guys.  I mean, I always thought T-Rod was the best pure athlete I've ever seen.  Bret had better hands and was a better all-around receiver than him and Roshaun was kind of Mr. Dependable and had a little bit more of a knack for the defensive side of the ball.

Ricardo Kemp was a great player, great all-around player.  He could play every position and didn't seem to have any kind problem transitioning to it.  Heck of a basketball player too and baseball might have been his best sport.  I think he would have excelled at any sport he played.  Probably would have been best player on the golf and tennis teams too. Everything came so natural to him.

Jay Wright was a great player too, I imagine he has to rank second behind Bret on most people's lists and he may be first. Greg Childs was probably the most physically-imposing of the bunch we've had.  Can't forget about Chris Gragg as well.  Hard to spread the ball around to those guys.  Funny thing is that none of them were really much receiving threats as sophomores. Wright played corner and wildcat QB mostly, Childs was a DE (and was great there), and Gragg was in Dumas. I would have liked to have seen them with better QB's.  Would have helped their numbers.  Also better line play, could have helped the QB's we had.

Have to mention Darveon Brown and Jaylon Marshall as well.  I didn't get to see them as much but I know they were exciting and they brought home a state championship, almost two, with some not-so-great QB play at times either.  Jaylon might have been the most improved player of this bunch. I don't think he played much in junior high and he hit a growth spurt and really grew into the position to where he became a D1 receiver.

Then to Treylon.  Treylon may be better than all the rest of them by the time it's all said and done.  A lot of things can happen between now and the time he graduates, but he is a great kid as mentioned on here.  He's a great basketball and baseball player too.  He can do it all, reminds me of Kemp in that way, but he's bigger and more of a natural athlete probably.

All of that said, if Treylon keeps on the track that I hope he stays on, then he will be the best to come through Warren High School.  If there's some kind of bump along the way, God forbid, that could change.  But my money is on him.

Nashville 2016 OL Kirby Adcock picked up an offer from Arkansas today on his visit.

Mr. Mercer

Loved watching Adcock in the state title game. Very impressive player

Warren is ranked by Max Prep as the 19th Most Dominant Schools in the state of Arkansas tied with CAC, that's not to bad. Since 2004 at least.

What are some schools ahead of them? I would imagine there are 4 or 5 they should be ahead of....

Overall record: 112-21-1
The Bruins have nine Top 20 finishes and two state titles since 2004.

would say that warren should be in the top 15 for sure. Not sure how some of those teams are ahead of them besides maybe playing in a higher classification.

2019 WR Treylon Burks has been offered by Arkansas.

Picked up his 3rd offer from South Florida..the other day to go along with offers from Memphis and Arkansas...

Romeo

No surprise that South Florida offered Burks considering one of the South Florida coaches is Warren legend Alonzo Hampton.

Romeo

Its my guess that Burks will have at least six DI offers before the 2016 season starts.

Burks is going to get offers from every major D1 school out there, IMHO.  With D1 offers before he has played his sophomore season, I'm guessing he has to be projecting as a 5* recruit.

Also, PR shows that Jackson is slated as a WR for offense.

AirWarren

Jackson is one of those kids that you just need to get the ball in his hands.

Ladarrius Bishop DB class of 2018 from Ashdown now holds an offer from Baylor

SUGARTOWN

The ESPN 2017 top 300 has been released, only 2 Arkansas high school kids on the list:
#68 Akial Byers, DT Fayetteville, 4*, grade 84
#180 Montaric Brown, S Ashdown, 4*, grade 82

STUNNA

Ashdown should have a nice secondary this season.

hogdiggity

Ashdown QB Jaden Hill (class of 2018) was offered by La Tech

We have a very talented group of kids in skill positions.  The lines will be the big question, and as we all know that is where it all starts.

Last year they had 3 d-1 skill guys and a very good qb so they lined up and played the power I.

Hearing there's a couple of Ivy League schools with interest in Warren RB Dennis Daniels.

Columbia and Princeton are showing interest. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Justin Hall should be graduating from West Point next month.

He should be. Think he is a 2011 grad of Warren.

I know Daniels has great grades.

He should play receiver.  He will be better there with his speed and elusiveness.  QB is not his position even though he plays there in highschool.

You should just shut up because you know nothing but your own stupidity because everyone one knows that last year Ashdown never lined up in the same formation in any two games in a row which even left the most die hard Panther fan scratching their heads!!!
