Week 9 @ Bearden
Open Date in Week 3 since Hartford dropped football

Week 2 - Bishop Gorman (I still think we win big)
Week 3 - Junction City (Probably lose this one)

I love how the Bearden and Hector match up got thrown together. 2A being the smallest class it really is great when 2 teams of that high quality can match up in non conference and give fans a quality match up like that. The nature of 2A conference schedules makes that hard though obviously unlike the other classes all having week 1 through 3 open.

to lazy to look at a map right now...but how long did it take you to make the trip up to hector last year?

If you drive straight thru, maybe 2 hours. Its mostly 4 lanes all the way from the exit to Sheridan all
the way the Bearden. We left about noon and hung out in Little Rock for a little while and ate, and got to the
game about 45 minutes till kick off. Its not that bad of a drive.

Hmmmm Might make 2 trips down south this year....Depends on how Hector's season is going though...

The non conference games to really look forward to in no order are........ Hector @ Bearden, Bigelow @ Danville, Carlise @ England, Des Arc @ Bald Knob, Hazen @ Earle, Rivercrest @ Earle, Highland @ Earle, McCrory @ East Poinsett County, Gurdon @ Glen Rose, Osceola @ Hazen, Hermitage @ Lafayette County, Parkers Chapel @ Magnet Cove, Mount Ida @ Danville, Rison @ Fordyce, Junction City @ Smackover


These are all games involving solid 2A schools that should give everyone an idea if each teams season will live up to expectations or not and an idea of what may happen come playoff time in 2A.

Unless Glen Rose makes a huge turn around that Gurdon @ Glen Rose game shouldn't be much of a game....Now all the other ones I can't disagree with, should tell us a lot about where those teams stand...Just wish the Hector/Bearden game was a couple weeks earlier in the season so the Wildcats will have a little bit more time to work out the kinks that are exposed by the Bears...

I almost put that on the list. I was unsure if it was finalized. I am glad to see it is. Junction City, Gurdon, and Earle have insane non conference schedules for a 2A school to take on.
