Scared? Would you wanna drive a bus full of kids in the snow for a couple hrs?

You expecting a blizzard? Lol...a few flurries won't hurt anybody.

Ok guys, I've watched some more film...a lot more film actually....

There's no denying that DWay has a lot of speed and overall talent, but I still stand by my previous statements. It's nothing more than Booneville has already faced. I think their coaching and scheme is better than most, especially with the open bone. It'll be a good, hard fought game. Still going with my Cats +14 though. I've yet to see anything that would change my mind.

If you think that's ridiculous, then I'd encourage you to watch a lot more film of Booneville.

SUGARTOWN

This game is too close for me to call right now, have to think about it some more...

Redcoat

Where can you find film on both?

rattlerfan17

I use Hudl but I know you can find some Dollarway film on YouTube. UAPB TV has done a couple of their games this year and they are uploaded. I know the LR Parkview and Stuttgart games are on there.

Good work for sticking to your guns Elmerfudd. I, like you have watched some film and think that we can handle it!

Elmer, I hope you are right!!!  Hopefully the boys from the hills can handle the cold better than the boys from the south.

APACHE

How many teams have $way faced this year that run the Dead-T? A couple of years ago they came to Pottsville and had no clue how to handle the T. I think apaches won 30 something to 0.

Just a thought. GO Bearcats. Have fun in the 3a next year. ;)

That was a $way team that was barely .500! No way shape or form considered dominate heck they barely got by DeWitt that year! So the Dead T wasn't a problem then and it wont be Friday.

There's still one thing that many aren't aware of, and that's Booneville's passing game. I think Booneville has only needed to pass two or three times since the playoffs began, so there's obviously not a lot of film on it. Unlike previous Booneville teams in the past, this team actually has the ability to do damage with the passing game if needed.

After more film.  D way is dang good and extremely fast.  They will score on us and we will score on them.  We have to be extremely disciplined and have no turnovers and we will pull out the win.  Looked like Star citys youth showed through and they give up way to many big plays and just flat out didnt have a good game.  They also didnt catch any breaks.

I don't think it will come down to passing show down but I would give the edge on passing to $way.

Yea I don't think it will either because no one has stopped the run yet.
You're right. no one has been able to stop Dway's running game and I don't think it will happen this friday

When Booneville out scores them, it won't really matter anyway.
lol OK.................

Boy, you walked right into that one haha

After more film.  D way is dang good and extremely fast.  They will score on us and we will score on them.  We have to be extremely disciplined and have no turnovers and we will pull out the win.  Looked like Star citys youth showed through and they give up way to many big plays and just flat out didnt have a good game.  They also didnt catch any breaks.

You're right, no turnovers and don't give them easy scores. You must make them drive the ball down the field and stop the big plays. You do that and I think you have more than a good chance, especially if you have any type of play action passing game. The Dollarway D swarms to the ball so I think you can move the ball with some misdirection.

OLDSCHOOL82

I agree.  We have to limit their big plays and find a way to defend the jump ball passes.  I really think this game is going to be a long hard fight.  It will be hard for us to break long runs/passes due to their speed.  They get out of position alot but recover fast.

As a player on the Booneville team that lost a heartbreaker to DWay in 2004, I've been waiting for this rematch for a long time. This is by far the best team Booneville has played all year and I expect a good game. Hope I can make it to the game.

I have not been to a Booneville game this year, but as a senior player in the 2004 game it is going to hurt to miss this one.

Go back and read the whole thread before you start throwing that out there. It will prevent you from looking even more foolish than you already do

Super jack

I think this will be a battle but Dway has the intangibles going for them, but you can't count out Bville cause they just line up and run it right at you,I hope those big linemen are in good shape cause they are going to be on the field for a long time against Bville. This game is one I would love to see with the two styles clashing and Bville is very discipline on offense, this game is just to lose to call.

Again, don't let the film on Dollarway that some of you guys are watching fool you. It does them no justice. Booneville does what it does very well, probably better than most who run their offense so I don't expect them to deviate from it. The game will come down to who can get stops and score when they do. I don't expect a lot of turnovers either.

"Probably" better than "most" teams? Who does what Booneville does better?

Well, I saw them in person. And they must not have played one of their better games that night because what I saw a very good team but certainly not an unbeatable one. I was way more impressed by what I saw from Booneville when I saw them play.

the_kosher_pig

This is my first time seeing either of these teams play.  I lived in Pine Bluff 6 years but never saw a Dollarway game.  Saw White Hall/PB/Chapel though.
