It doesn't appear that Spring Hill has a deep enough pitching staff. Pretty even between PC and Spring Hill when they're at there best but If you have a deep pitching staff you will go far in any tournament.

If you would have told me that this bunch of young kids from PW would win region I would have took that bet. These kids are stroking the ball and the pitching is good across the board and about 5 deep. In proud of everyone of them.

They had the best talent last year also and didn't win the title . One bad game at the plate or in the field and your going home. Conway Christian ran into a kid that pitched the game of his life last year and got sent home. Never know with kids.

Your 100% correct about that. I think in 2011 Marked Tree had a real solid squad and got beat by Parkers Chapel in the semifinals. They had a lefty that no-hit MT that night until the top of the 7th, and he gave up back to back hits. Can't remember if PC won state that year or not.

Conway Christian Played Hector three times including the regional finals. Conway Christian won all three times the scores were 5-0; 5-0; 8-0.

Must have been there semi game in regionals they won 7-6 or 8-7 over Lavacca or pangburn that I saw.

I hate PC but........ PC please make the finals and take down Conway Christian IF they make it to the finals.  That way the State Title will stay here down South. Just think if Junction wouldn't have choked in 3A Regionals this year. The 8-2A could have potentially had the defending State Champs in 3A, 2A, and 1A. That would have been really cool. PC and Woodlawn still have a chance in there classifications but both still have a lot of work to do to get there.

BIC has a solid team but if you jump on them they get a little down on themselves. They are very solid on defence and smart on the basepaths. But I've said this before you just never can tell about kids.
