are you sure that was Lauren Carroll and not Lea Carroll? Lauren was the Leading scorer. maybe just a typo on their behalf

Champ gets three spots.
Runner up gets two spots.
The other 14 teams get one spot each.
The coach submits the names.

They had two all tournament players...all state is in another thread. But yes. Two all tourney, one all state.

We are happy to get what we got  My only disappointment is that Bam ( Styleen Tyler ) didn't get chosen as well. He played really well throughout the tournament.

The way it seems to be is that each conference gets 4 ALL STATE players so if your conference has more than 4 outstanding or highly respected players the coaches have to pick the 4 they feel most derserving by voting for them some way or discussing it between them selves. Tough job I am sure.

Each conference gets three All State.  6AA had one each from Des Arc, Clarendon and Brinkley.  It was voted on by the Coaches.

Just re-typed what the AAA had at the time that I looked...Blame your coach(my understanding is that they submit their players)
