Best wishes to the Hot Springs Lady Trojans and their injured player

At the DeQueen - Hot Springs girls game on Friday, a Hot Springs player suffered an injury and was airlifted to Little Rock for treatment.  As much as many of us love this game, there are (unfortunately) reminders like this that should allow us all to pause and put everything in its proper perspective. 

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers and join me in wishing her a speedy recovery.

Absolutely. Prayers for a speedy recovery and for their family and support system during this difficult time.   Hopefully an update can be posted. Was it a limb or head injury?

The player suffered a major concussion accompanied by memory loss.  The last update I saw was that she was able to return home and is resting comfortably.

Here's to hoping her as fast of a recovery as possible and the continued hopes that she will be able to return to the field in due time.
