I'm pretty sure they had to lose a game to end the 85 season since they didn't win the championship that year but here is what Wikipedia says, "Football: The Barton Bears football team is one of the state's most noted and successful by winning four consecutive and eight total state football championships (1978, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1993, 1994, 1997) and during one stretch, Barton won 63 consecutive games between 1985 and 1990, a streak no school in Arkansas has come close to match. Between 1993 and 1995, Barton had another streak of 38 consecutive wins. The teams were led by Frank McClellan (1970-05) who won a state-record 367 wins.[4][5]"

Didn't mcgehee have a streak in the upper 30's as well?

Probably back in the early 90s. Leroy Hood was a stud. They had another GREAT player then too but I can't remember his name

Thanks! Didn't they both play at Arkansas Tech?
Hood went to Tech after the Hogs. I don't think Bailey played college ball.

If my memory is correct, I believe McGehee won 30 consecutive from 1998-2000. I believe they lost to Dumas in week two in 1998, then lost to Dumas in week three in 2000. They were 14-1 in 1998 and 15-0 in 1999.

When is the last time Pulaski Academy lost a game to an in-state team?

Good question.

They have won 46 in a row over in state teams.

Last loss to an Arkansas team was in 2013 against Morrilton

I would have thought LR Central would have landed on this list.  Granted it would have been a long time ago.  Curious as to what LRC's best streak is.

Hasbeen92

Rison ended Barton streak Barton also had a streak of regular season wins that I think went into 90s or 100s it started in 85 hazen beat them in regular season and I don't think they lost until they moved up in classification somewhere around 97

Central used to play teams from out of state they were little rock  high then but no one in state beat them back when Wilson Matthews was coach and before I think LR hall started in 57 before that one school for all of little rock image that now
