Rank in order which coach you would like to have based on their resumes. These are five coaches that have either been mentioned on this bored or that I have heard who have contacted or sent in resumes/apps for the job. I did some googling and used fearless as a reference on some of these. I think it's neat once you take the names away from the coaches to let their work speak for itself.

Candidate #1/ 13-9 as a head coach, took over after the team had gone 14-38 the previous four season. Won a state championship a an OC. Has scored an average of 320+ points on offense a year which is a major uptick.

Candidate #2/ 57-44 as a head coach has made playoffs every year but one as a head coach. Has never won a conference championship. Scored over 500 points this year which is double what they scored last year. Consistently only gives up 200 points a year.

Candidate #3/ 0-10 as a head hugh school coach, 2 years as a junior high head coach undefeated seasons. Is a position coach for a school that did not make the playoffs but the school did improve when a new head coach came in this year.

Candidate #4/ defensive coordinator for a team that went 11-2 this year for the best scoring defense in the state. Has been a defensive coordinator for conference championship teams 4 out of 5 years and teams have scored an average of 10 points a game the previous two years.

Candidate #5/ offensive coordinator for a school that went 9-2 this year but put up over 500 points this season. Has previously coached in another state where he was an OC there and put up the same crazy numbers. Has 4 years of experience as a coach but all 4 have been as a coordinator.

#4 Outlaw-Wynne
#5 Middleton- LR Christian

Pennington and Haddock would probably get a look if they are interested but the other 3 probably won't be considered.

Monticello has the best facilities in the 8-4A and a lot of talented athletes.  This has been hacked away the last 8 years by terrible coaching. I think the coaching candidates will be pleasantly surprised by what Monticello has to offer when they come check out the school and town.

I would be worried if any of my candidates accept the job...specially AirWarren he has a lot of insight into that Warren program.

I donít understand degrading comments like this.  In all of my years covering Monticello sports NOT ONE TIME HAS ANYONE been robbed at gun point after a game. Best yíall got is dogging our great community.  Outside of football Warren has the short man syndrome like none I have ever seen. Once we start kicking your butts on a regular basis again you wonít even have that.

I couldn't agree more. Monticello fans still like to call Monticello vs Warren a rivalry game. However for the last 15 years Monticello has only won once. That's no rivalry. I want fans on both sides to get excited about this game again.
