Thanks
I'd like to see an example of Proposal 3, where students in district conversion charter schools can play for another school in the district if the school they attend doesn't offer it. My understanding is that district conversion charter schools are just public schools that have reclassified as charter. What is this proposal really about?

Drama on Proposal 9. Reported as failed with a vote of 141 For & 68 Against. However, that is 67% of the schools voting in favor.
Classic AAA. Didn't get their way on Proposal 9 so we have to have a re-vote.
What are we, the Bush/Gore election?
From what I'm reading there won't be a re-vote, just a clarification since only 209 schools voted on Proposal 9 and of those schools 67% of them voted for the proposal.
The AAA tweeted out that the Proposal failed and a member of the press pointed out the math.
Total schools are 291. Tell the reporter to do his math. Don't know what the handbook says. If you figure on total schools it doesn't pass
It passed

Schools that voted. Only 216 schools showed up for the voting today with 209 voting on Proposal 9.

To be honest, the AAA tweeted that it failed, too.

If you look at the reply from Henry Apple. That is what caused them to go back and look at it again.

Correct, just because you are a registered voter doesn't mean you cast a vote.

It passed the 2/3rds majority, looks like you lost, lol.
So since proposal 9 passed, when can we expect to see how the conferences will be split up?
So proposal #9 fails and the AAA finds a way to have a recount and make it pass?

There wasn't a recount, just someone smart enough to do the actual math, lol......
141 votes for Proposal No. 9.
68 votes again Proposal No. 9.
141 + 68 = 209
141/209 = 67.5 percent
2/3 = 66.7 percent
Proposal passes. You can't count schools that didn't cast a vote.

Wait.....wut?? You mean just like in national elections when the losing side complains about the outcome, but less than 50% of their electorate bothered to vote?

You forgot to mention how the Russians also hacked into the election totals (was I supposed to go there?) :P

Nope, they shut down the political forum here a few years ago, apparently there were some malcontents......
