James gets 12 and sounds like USA is one win away from a medal.

Unfortunately the USA University team didn't get that win in the semi's.  They did end up with the bronze medal though.  Congratulations JA.

OSU gets the win over TAMU 76-69.

JA only had two points at the half and got those just before the half ended.  He had a monster second half though and ended up with 19.  Great reverse layup and no look bounce pass assist the announcers were amazed at.  They also made a comment that they were talking with OSU's Keaton Paige about how small a town he came from.  Keaton said the town he was from only had two stop lights.  They said James then told them he could beat that.  He was from Junction City, AR and it only had one stop light. ;D

why is this stupid swine? He is all but a lock to be a lottery pick.  the only benifit would be graduation, but what if he got hurt?

Nothing left to prove and a blown knee away from not being able to try to realize a dream.

Most national media have him in the top 20 as a late lottery or mid first round pick.  Here's one that has him going at #14.

Thanks for the heads up.

It is kind of like a "Where's James" picture though.

Here's a hint, look between Evan Turner's feet.

Since it's a small picture, maybe it will only be a small jinx. 8)

Wilson

I believe he is a pulln' your leg....

Now the actual swine flu is a what more so than a who.......Nasty version of the flu.......but its not to be confused with "Swine Fever" which refers to the hankern' you get for  "Carter and Son's BBQ"  ;)

Aw now W, I know SF was just trollin'.  Like the Carter reference though.

James casts a pretty big shadow in more ways than one and I just wanted everybody to know Rodney did a great job for the Dragons this year on the hard court.

Did you see the picture I posted on the 2A football board about how they're coming along with the field house?

Wilson

Yeah I saw it.....its going up pretty fast.    I have been told that the foundation takes the most time......once they get that down the rest is pretty much bolt together......Then of course they will have to finish the inside.....but the basic building goes quickly.

Wilson, are there team pictures of the state championship baseball teams floating around anywhere in JC?  As much wall as that new building looks like it'll have, must be some place to display those things.  I know Taylor puts theirs in the lobby of their basketball gym.

Wilson

I have copies of the 72, 77, 80, 81, and 89 teams.   No idea where to find the 92 and 04 pics....but somewhere at the school there should be copies from the annual staffs of those years I would think.     Would be nice....although I was told at one time that the baseball state title trophies were moved and not viewable for a while by the then coach cause he "didnt want the players living in the past".......or so I was told.    That was when I was living in Bossier and didnt have much contact with anyone other than coach Hux.........so I'm nost sure if the baseball pics would rank to high on the priority list....lol

Would be nice to see big versions of them up on the walls.....maybe even some championship banners for the 7 baseball titles, 3 in football and the one in basketball.....considering its supposed to be a "multi purpose" building.

Can't remember the exact score, but the JC senior boys ended up with somewhere around a 15 to 20 point win over Bearden tonight.

One or two point game at the half but Bearden did not score a point in the third quarter.
