He wrote Rainy Night in Georgia and Polk Salad Annie.  About as far from a crooner as you can get.  Very unique.  Some folks call what he does swamp funk.

Sorry Bearden folks but this little fellow was in the JC homecoming parade and it struck  me as funny.



At least is wasn't as unlucky as the "Next Stop Jewelry Shop" that neither school had any luck with in WMS.
