One of the articles I read said there was only 4 seconds left. They snapped the ball and he chunked it down field, probably celebrating or was told too. Who knows. But if he takes the snap and takes a few steps back and kneels we aren't having this conversation

Or at the very least, the QB slide play where he runs at an angle backwards to the wide side of the field and goes down just before the defense gets to him.
