Just want to say we are so proud of him.  He won the 5A state meet in the 400m with a personal best of 50.02.

After having only one regular season meet, the conference meet and state meet, going into the Meet of the Champs he knew the competition would be tough.  His goal was to improve his time.  He did that and did it in a big way.

Josh dropped his time to 49.34 and a 3rd place finish at the Meet of the Champs.  That is awesome.

WTG Josh.  We are so proud of you, you did it!!  Way to represent Watson Chapel.

A nod to Coach George Shelton, his head football coach, for seeing him through the season.  And a congratulations to all the athletes that competed this last weekend and to those who set new state and/or meet records.  You all did fantastic.

Great year for Josh. Congratulations to his hard work and accomplishments. Is he going to run in college?

That is what he is shooting for.  He has been accepted at UofA and ASU on academics.  Now, it is just a matter of talking with coaches, sending his video and seeing what happens.  Walking on is an option he will explore as well.

His ACT was 27 and GPA 3.2 (fall 2012 semester, waiting on final grades to get overall GPA).
