Oh you can go wrong with COD. I no longer attribute to the COD foundation. For the same reason I quit Halo, tired of the same game.

Chrono Trigger

That's my 1.A.  The co-favorite is EarthBound.

A few of us have revealed our age on this thread.

Possibly 2 of the most underrated games ever.  Chrono Trigger is probably somewhat widely known mainstream, but neither of these will ever get the praise they are due.  Also the sequel to Chrono Trigger was solid.

Kids today just don't know.

Secret of Evermore was also solid.

Since we are dating ourselves. My favorite game is has to be the hardest one I ever played. I did not even realize that so few people defeated the game until much later in my life.

Very hard to pick one.  Hey, I remember Pong.  Though Zelda (any) are some of my favorites.  Same with Mario.  I did like Star Wars Battlefront/Battlefront 2 for PS2.  The same for football and soccer on the same console.  Plus a lot of other genre on the same console.  I currently play on the PS3.  A lot of great games, since this console came out, but I did like playing Resistance 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.  I do play a lot of Battlefield 3 and waiting until Battlefield 4 comes out in October. One game that I thought was very fun to play (and play co-op, especially with young ones) was any Legos game on PS2 and PS3.  Relaxing for old guys and teaching young ones to be a upcoming gamer.

PC: (1) Rome Total War; (2) Starcraft

8 bit (NES): (1) Zelda; (2) Super Mario Bros.

16 bit (SNES & Sega): (1) Zelda: Link to the Past; (2) Sonic the Hedgehog 3

32-64 bit (Play Station & N64): (1) Zelda: Ocarina of Time; (1a) Mario 64; (2) Metal Gear Solid

PS2 & Xbox: Too many to mention but, (1) Halo; (2) Rockstar Games [GTA/Red Dead Redemption, Vice City]; (3) EA Sports NCAA Games; (4) Force Unleashed - finally realize the awesomeness of force powers in a video game.

*Clearly not an authoritative list. Simply based on what I have played.

Since we are disclosing our ages by the video games that we played, I will go with Battlezone back I the early 80's.  Cool sound effects, okay graphics and a kickbutt stand up machine.
