I know my boy said that roge plays with them during open gyms in the summer and shows them how to play. I was just wondurin if Tha boss scrimmaged his own team and showed them how to shoot his famous set shot I herd about or his four corner offense that he invented and some coach at North Carolina or some place stole and took credit for.

I was actuallay very lucky I got to scrimmage with the boss daily.  He couldn't full power on us because it wasn't fare.  He would go I'd say half throttle. Full throttle he was NBA material.  Half throttle proparly the best in the state.  Weird rule though if you got beat playing the boss that night at 930 you had to go behind the bus shed blind folded and act like you was shooting jump shots and boxing out hard.  I only had to do it once from losing but then I started losing on purpose to get in extra practice.  I think that's what made me and the 83 Crue the best ever.  Besides the box and 3 zone and 4 corners.  I still look behind that bus shed and think I miss getting better back there and enjoy my memories.  I can still here that janitor yelling jam it in the hole backboard.  And then me slamming the imaginary hole with all I had and then defending the imaginary hole.  Talk about making you great defend and play offense blind folded at night with an imaginary basket!  And that's why we are the best ever.  Thanks Boss!  RNP

Rogers never mentioned this technique to my boy. Boss probably left out imaginary balls because he didn't want anybody to match his dominance. this technique is the secret sauce it sounds like. Maybe coach Brandon Bradley at bay has similar technique. Has been on a roll lately.

Those nights are legendary around the Great Lake!! Me myself I'd go swimming to wind down after such hardball sessions! Boss would threaten everybody with BEBs and RNPs and I'd immediately jump up and do 4 or 5 sets of sidestraddelin pelvic up pops. Once I got so carried away that the Boss chased me out of the gym wavin the broom at me yelling it's a 4-0 sweep for the boss. And the janitor came and clean up the mess I left

My couzin went to Wsgf. i wander if this was the same janitor that he always talked about. Barbara sue Ellen Carlton? legend has it that she was the principal at the school with the hands of a man, but played the boss to a tie in 1on1. The next day she was janitor and the rest is history as they say.

May not be true. My couzin randy has been known to tell fib in his day. Maybe I just misunderstood. Maybe he said the boss got tied up with Barbara sue playin 1 on 1? Just glad she didn't get hert if he was as good as they say.

TheGovernor yes Hazlewood was a beast he was there in 82.  Best team that didn't win it all ever.  He could post up anybody smooth stroke also.  Got some info coming up I'll share with everyone about us being the best ever

I've heard the boss was the highest paid basketball coach in the state when he took over the quitman program. Truth in that? Can't believe Wsgf would run off the legend. We see how many state titles they won since he left.
