My word... 24 for Crossett  :o

They had a dynasty in the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s, but hadn't won one since 2003.

Ahh.... And during those dynasty days they were in a larger classification right? Back when they would have been with what are current 5A schools like Alma, Watson Chapel, etc. ??

AT

Yes, Crossett used to be in the OLD 4A, when it was the 2nd largest classification.

AT

Crossett, not known for their distance now days, even won cross country state titles. Five I believe.

Had we been in 4A all along in the 2000's (which we should have been) instead of 5A, it would be alot more. But congratulations to the boys and the girls for being runner ups

Crossett 5A during the 2000's?

Rivercrest girls won it with only 6 girls competing...by 28 points I believe.

I think one girl( Rivercrest)scored 36 pts by herself and more if she was on any of the relay teams!

Sydney Lane won high point for the meet. Going to Arkansas State to high jump.

4A PEA RIDGE'S Blakelee Winn scored 39 points in the Blackhawks first ever outdoor state title, which they won by more than 50 points without a single senior class athlete.  Winn is only a 9th grader and she split time playing center field for the Blackhawk softball team.  The Hawks two time state pole vault champ Cassidy Mooneyhan is only a sophomore, and she will be joined next season by an incoming 9th grader who is flirting with clearing 10 feet right now.  The 4A wll be tougher next year with the lower half of the 5A moving down into it, but it looks like the Hawks will be ready for the increased competition.

Congratulations to the Prescott Curley Wolves!  Back to back state champions and three out of the last four!  10 total!!  7 since 2007!!

yes we were in 5A until 2013 when we probably should have been in 4A the whole time.

Crossett was 5A during 2006-2013 which is mainly the old 4A conference.  Crossett's 4A conference now is the old 3A teams.  They are in the right conference now due to their enrollment.  Congrats on the state title.  Crossett has great tradition.

-Trinity Christian just keeps rolling in 1A

-Lake Hamilton and Texarkana both impressed and congrats to LH on the title

Exactly we are in the right conference now...not then...our enrollment was never enough then to be in conference with WC, Lr Mills, Sylvan Hills etc. Our #'s were almost consistent with Warren, Hamburg, Star City which is what I am saying. We should have been in the conference we are now at that time.
