Hey Perry, I guess that out coaching thing was directed at me   

I predicted it would come down to two things.  1) if PR could hit the big 3 point shots - they didn't and 2) if PG would use their big man inside - they did.

My only criticism of their coaching was that they haven't used the big man in the 3 games I've seen them play previously.  He is a force inside and in all the prior games they seemed to forget he was even on the court.  He was a total non-factor in the previous two games against Gravette.  Kudos to the Tigers last night.  Pea Ridge was forced to double team him last night and when he wasn't scoring, the Tigers found easy open 3 point shots on the perimeter largely due to the double teaming in the post which left them short handed outside.

Those teams were very evenly matched. Sayner was a big presence inside but like you said was double teamed most of the night. Pea ridge just took so many threes and not at a high percentage. Have they done that all year?

I've only seen PR play twice this year.  At Gravette and last night.  At Gravette they shot, and hit, a high number of threes.  Gravette did NOT defend the 3 well at all that night.  I thought your guys did an outstanding job of contesting the three.  PR really struggled to get uncontested looks, that was the key.

Great night overall for pg fans. Farmington girls and boys will be super tough on their home floor. The girls game shouldn't matter as much, both teams should advance to state. The loser of the boys game will probably have a tough time getting in if the 4-4a is as tough as they say.

Best game Farmington has played this year. Freshman Matt Thomas had another big night and rest played very well. They had 2 freshman on floor at times tonight.

Tomorrow should be a great game by 2 very good teams. PG will make some noise next week in Lincoln.
