Nashville held a grand opening tonight for their new arena. The first game to be played in it is this Friday. This is one of the nicest high school gyms I've ever seen.

Red, Damonique played well but Robinson is not a top 10 team in my opinion. Baptist is not a top 20 team, especially when Hogue shoots badly. Both teams will have to improve to make it to state tourney.

I know the conference is loaded on the girls side, the state champ will probably come from this conference, and a few good teams will end up missing out on the state tourney. How about on the boys side? Who will be the teams to beat and how do they compare with top teams in other conferences?

What part of she played well was an insult. I gave her props. You didn't hear me talking about how Hogue bust Robinson up all 3 games last year that AB won. I'm just saying take a compliment. Mark it down though, AB nor Robinson will make state tourney. I've seen Star City, CAC, Malvern & Dumas. They are all better. Nashville, Bauxite, Monticello will also have a say in it. I hope both teams improve.

Read my previous post. I posted the scores I did not make any reference to any individual performance from that game. You basically said Damonique played ok but her team is not good. Yes you right its your opinion. In my opinion I seen Star City, CAC, and Dumas.. I can tell you they will not walk all over us, and I'm sure Malvern will be good as last year. Nashville, Bauxite, and Monticello is not better than Robinson but we will soon find out because Nashville, and Bauxite is next on Robinson list. Robinson is not the door mate of old.. So just because they don't look or play your style of ball doesn't make them weak.. For the record I have not made any reference on this website about my daughter other than I'm a regular Joe watching basketball.. I don't get on her to boost about what my daughter did or etc.. If you want to know just pick up the paper and google her.

That gym is incredible looking. Conway has the nicest I've seen, a little bigger than Nashville's, and has video board. With that said, the one in this picture looks extremely nice, kinda looks like a small Jack Stephens (UALR).

Sorry, after looking closer, I think I see a video board. Very nice!

Very well coached. Coach Williams will do a great job of making this program in to something.

As far as this year's team they have great size. Brandon Shamrock (6'5) and Cam Alexander (6'3 280) are a nice duo inside. LaMichael Pettway (6'3) is their primary ball handler but would be better suited at the 3 spot and utilized as a scorer. Guard play is below average and will keep them from being able to beat the top teams in the conference. They have a chance to be a solid team and easily the best Nashville has had in awhile.
