Okay, a refresher again for you people that get yourselves confused and in such a tizzy over this stuff.

1.  All-State-  There are a defined set number of players per conference that make All-State.  They are voted on at a conference meeting by your conference coaches.  That is to say your coaches in your conference decide who makes All-State.  They have nothing to do with the selections from other conferences or other classifications.  You can argue all you want about how many should make it, but it's supposed to be exclusive by nature and the coaches have the ability to look at more than just points as a measuring stick.

2.  All-Tournament-  Open only to players on teams that participated in the State Tournament.  Thus excluding Regional or District.  Each team in the State tournament gets one All-Tournament player.  The two finalists get a bonus pick and the winner gets yet another.  Each choice is selected by his own coach and is supposed to be based on just state tournament play.

Those 2 are listed on the AAA website for both boys and girls for all 7 classes.

3.  All-Conference-  These are decided at the very same meeting that All-State is decided at.  Voted by your coaches as a whole and varies a little by conference as to quantity.  Some go as far as to have honorable mention as well.  Normally, a coach can't vote for his own players, but they often politic for their own.

The information for all-conference is not released through the AAA.  In fact, they don't even record it.  The info comes from the coaches in your conference in whatever way they decide to release it. Often they like to wait on a banquet of something to surprise people.
