Starters vs starters the score was 26-14. Starters vs 2nd the score was 21-6. Not domination but I'm ok with it.

DeWitt will be fine and in playoff contention

cuckoobird

I want to hear that prediction lj.  Did it have to do with pizza in any way?

CounterPunch

Looks like Star City came out injury free tonight as well. Looking forward to Lonoke next Friday.

45-7. Final. Warren.

Second string looked just as good as starters. Especially at RB.

Dang..........who  did ya'll play..............Hermitage ?
A little 3A school. I guess it balances out since their first game is against 7A though.

You'll get yours in a couple of weeks :D

oh ok, sorry I didn't know we played ya'll...................I better look at the schedule more closely.

Keep up. Talking about Stuttgart.

Barton beats Dewitt 35-32

Does he even know the meaning of the word analogy??  :)

Dewitt did indeed go up 12-0 but barton finally got it going before half and scored making it 12-7. Barton pulled all starters in the 4th quarter but dewitt still had many playing. Just what i heard from a guy more qualified than the other two sources who posted and i trust this guy

So the question is.........Do we trust you more than the other two sources on here?

I indeed am giving second hand knowledge but even if i have it just half correct it would probably be more accurate than the other 1 for sure.

Hard to believe that they are questioning you?  Man what is this world coming to!!

harry

Dewitt dominated, Coach Gunnell kept his starting offense on the field for 4 drives and they moved the ball at will, scored all 4 drives, without even running anything but basic plays, he did not call but a fraction of his offense, QB ran at will, probably averaged 15 yards each time he carried the ball. The one busted play we had was when the center snapped the ball over the QBs head and he ran back scooped up the ball and threw a touchdown pass. Bartons first half touchdown was set up on a fourth and 15 or more when the QB threw up a prayer that got answered, more luck than anything. Coach Lewis will have his defense ready for Episcopal, could be a shutout. Dont let the score of a scrimmage game fool you, Dewitt Dominated.

SUGARTOWN

Harry, you don't know much about Episcopal do you? They return 9 starters on offense and 6 on defense from a team that averaged 30 points and won 10 games last year. They also have one of the best wr's in the state.

If DeWitt shuts them out, Warren and Star City better be worried.

LJ06

Episcopal is a very good, talented team. If DeWitt can beat them then they stand a good chance of making the playoffs.

cuckoobird

Harry dont know much about anything

This is YNH's cyber alter ego.

Makes you think.....hmmmmm

Cuckoo you were given incorrect secondhand information. I watched it all in person. I have no motive to spread misinformation. Ask your source to name the starters, just their numbers will do.

Jacketman65

Now I have second hand information that this is just another stir of the ole pot.  From what I can gather DeWitt did quite well and will be fine this year!  How many will be going both ways - 1 or 2?  Just keep em healthy.

your name here

Just a few going both ways. Of course that changes, last game of season last year we had 12 kids that had started during the year not dressed out because of injury.

CounterPunch

I hope Dewitt can compete for a 4th place or so. That would be big for the town and program. Gotta believe though!

I firmly believe there are only 2 teams in 3A that could hang/beat Warren... And one of them did it last year..

I was joking about the season thing. You two know me better than that!

Booneville can beat a lot of teams in the state. I've said it all along, when you have a team that is as physically strong as Booneville along with running their offense as perfect as they do, they are tough to stop.

I think I'd rather lose to Marianna in a subpar season than lose another title game, that has to hurt a little more.
