Thoughts on the Warren scrimmage:
- Coach Hembree kept the offense pretty basic. QB Gorman looks improved throwing the ball; he had two long touchdown passes to Jaylon Marshall. However, at times he looked at bit rattled in the pocket and had trouble making reads and was slow at making decisions. I'm not fully satisfied at this point.

- His backup Lassiter is a little fella but has a lot of talent. He's mobile and has a good arm. He also caught a pass as a receiver tonight. He's going to turn out alright.

- Were going to have a strong, strong running game. We have three running backs that will contribute greatly this season. Cox was limited tonight but from his few carries looks to be back in 2012 form. Dennis Daniels looks just like his brother Chris Alford running the ball. He's going to be a future star.

- Defense looked fast and performed well tonight. We had trouble early wrapping up on tackles. Our line looks to be the strongest position. I didn't see enough from the secondary to give a full opinion. McGehee only threw the ball three times tonight, although they completed all three passes.

I feel better about QB than I did before the game. Also not enough from secondary to make a decision although we were playing the run considering McGehee plays the Wing. RB and WRs are as advertised. Defensive line looks VERY good. 2 notes: LaFoy Smith is back at DE and Hines is playing guard instead of center.

Don't read too much into that score. Starting RB didn't dress out, QB threw for over a 100 yds, had 1 incomplete pass. Starters played 1st half and 1 series in 3rd. Barton played starters until they got the lead.

Yes biggest aspect of the game tonight for Warren was that it was injury free for both teams. I hope the same can be said for all teams who played tonight.
