They lost their best two players on defense to graduation but they return over half of the defense. Quincy Collier is back at DE, they return two LB's, and 3 of the 4 guys in the secondary. They should be solid overall

It only gets accused of being weak around playoff time when most of the teams don't show up. That MAY change this year, but we won't know that till November.

although the brown kid may be your best wide receiver, the last time I saw he and Gorman play qb, Brown was the best candidate. He gives you run options that Gorman can't and I think he and cox could do some real damage running the option with that experienced line coming back.  That is until cox gets hurt. He seams to be Darren McFadden esq. Shows greatness but is always hampered by an injury. Hopefully this year he won't though

Offense?

JR Trace Collie is back at QB. He is a solid HS QB and can run a little bit. Being a sophomore last year he was used as a game manager but I expect his role to expand this season, especially in the run game. Monte Hernandez is one of the best RB in 4A. They also return their TE/Hback and 4 of their top 5 WR's from last year. On the Oline they return 3 starters and one key reserve on the line. I'm not sure about their overall depth but they should have a solid sophomore class that could contribute

The hype is deserved IMO. Top 5 team for sure

I really don't like seeing Warren at 1 maybe 4,this year will be one of the toughest to win the conference. With all the talent coming back in 8 4a ( DW,W,SC,H) their should be some real good games and even better COACHING this year.

Nice article, did not realize that you guys lost Cox so early in the season!  Hopefully he can have a healthy year this year!  Will be interesting to see how the year plays out.  Experience will be the deciding factor in many of these games and I think that Warren definitely has that!

Yeah. Kilay wasnt the same all year. He showed glimpses in the title game but it was too late in the game.
