Warren High School Football Rules!!!!

They haven't really been as good since their 3 great receivers (Childs, Wright, and Gragg) went to Arkansas in 2008. The 2007 Lumberjacks were really good.

You see I look at it like this, we lost our coach because he's pretty good and he wanted to move up in classifications. I see nothing wrong with trying to make more money or working your way up. Stuttgart won championships before he was here and will win them after he's gone. Clinton can't say that. Heck you can't say anyone even wants a coach from Clinton period...

Jacketman65

Heard all of that before and yes we can't say that just like many other schools in the State.  However, you were the one saying he would not leave and just how much he liked that mosquito infested town!

I was showing support. I talked to him personally and knew there was a chance but I kept my fingers crossed.

It would be good if we built another dressing room behind the home side bleachers for the home team and let the visitors have the one we use now instead of the swimming pool. The turf has its pros and cons it has upkeep on it just like the grass that has to be done on it

True, I don't buy the economic maintenance reasons for installing turf.  However there are other benefits to having turf.

Well don't know about that but I am willing to bet turf causes more injuries.

4A schools playing 7A schools causes more injuries.  Players get fatigued, they are more prone to injury regardless of the playing surface.

Don't think that was the case with our injuries.  Could have happened in any game.  Not going to argue the point you're trying to make, but in this specific case, I think you are wrong.

Now this has been an interesting thread.  I believe it started as a thread about Monticello.  It began way to civil and for the biggest chunk of the thread I thought I was going to puke.  It seemed like everyone was at Girl Scout camp telling their feelings around a campfire.  There was no real good digs, names called, or arguments over invalid or inconsistent hearsay.  But then at the end we had some miscommunication which brought back some good ole name calling!

A dressing room is being built behind the band bleachers. The old locker room (Blue Building) is already being redone. It is mostly finished.

I don't know where this came from but there has never been plans to build a Stadium behind the High School in Monticello. The smartest thing would have been to fill in the pond and build it there but that was never discussed by the administration as a real option.
