It would be good if we built another dressing room behind the home side bleachers for the home team and let the visitors have the one we use now instead of the swimming pool. The turf has its pros and cons it has upkeep on it just like the grass that has to be done on it

I thought they were make plans a while back to build a whole new Stadium behind the High School. What happened to those plans???
I don't know where this came from but there has never been plans to build a Stadium behind the High School in Monticello. The smartest thing would have been to fill in the pond and build it there but that was never discussed by the administration as a real option.
It came from a clueless Chapel guy who thought we had plans to build a whole new stadium after just doing a MAJOR renovation about 10 years ago.  He should be fined for the oxygen he is wasting.

I look forward to seeing the finished project. They've done a good job renovating Hyatt Field, which used to be a dungeon back in the 90s.

Only because we had ya'll "locked down" back then....:)

With all these upgrades we are getting at Hyatt Field the next thing we need is a coach because our head coach is leaving going to Springdale to be a asst. He told the players about it Friday.

Finally ran him out of town huh. At least this coach deserved to be ran out. You know, after winning a state title and all(VP).

depends on the board. one board member was quoted as saying there are too many green fields. he would not support turf unless a blue one was chosen.

Only problem with blue turf is that you will get a letter from Boise State telling you what you can and can't call it.  They have the patent on Blue Turf.

GuvHog

The AAA probably won't let them wear all blue when they play on it either.

Better than to have no big deal at all.
