Southside has officially filled it's Week 1 game with Warren @UAPB in the Hooten's Classic on Tuesday September 3rd.....

Not too excited about playing a 4A school, but if you have to play one, Warren would certainly be the one to play.....

Haven't heard anything down this way but apparently Bait heard it up there.

According to the AAA website, Earle, Rogers Heritage, Highland, Lafayette County and Subiaco Academy are looking for opponents for week 3. Pottsville may also be looking for an opponent.

The thing that irks me is we were all excited because the 2 year agreement with Hootens was over (2012 against Shiloh at UCA, 2013 against Fayetteville at U of A) and now we've gone and signed another two year deal I'm guessing.

I don't think that you will have to be concerned with the Rebels this fall....we will be replacing 7 on offense and 5 on defense....we will be replacing our starting QB, RB, 2 WR's, and the entire OL....

Could be a long year for Southside....

I wouldn't mind playing Highland. That might end up being a good shootout. Both teams have 2 receivers who are DI prospects. Only problem would be the distance.

We know what Warren has coming back as far as starters but what about two deep on the defensive line? I am sure SS will try to wear them down although they will not have much depth on offense with a rebuilding of the entire line.
