Could someone give some info on who selects how they select and when they decide?

Coaches will be selected first. Coaches are nominated from their own conference and then voted on by all other coaches in the state to decide who will coach the all star game. Then the 4 coaches for each team will meet and select the all star players. They can only select players that have been selected as the best player from each conference by the coaches in that conference. Just because you have been listed as your conferences best does not mean you'll get picked, each all star team will only get two picks per classification(meaning some conferences will have 0 picked). It is possible to take more then one from the same conference. Each team will also get one extra player besides the 2 from each classification. There will always be a few high level players that get left off, but realize that is bound to happen when you can only pick two from a classification from your half of the state. On some years certain classifications could be loaded with talent and unfortunately they cannot all make it. They will meet and decide on all of this sometime after the finals are completed.

You must be a senior as well. Also, it's not as complex or intense as it sounds.
