Lamar was a bit timid looking in the first half against Brinkley. But they came out in the second half and dominated up a 26 point lead. With the starter's out Brinkley cut the lead to 12. But we put starters back in at the 2 minute mark and didn't let Brinkley another point. Lamar ended up winning by 16 or 18 points.

Lamar takes on Ozark at 5:30 today.

The Lamar ladies dominated Brinkley from start to finish. They mercy ruled them in second half. They won by about 30 points.

Lamar girls take on Providence Academy today at 4:00.

I suspect the former--the HC was not pleased with how his team was playing. Something about not taking charges.

In the end, the difference was shooting--the Rockets' leads coincided with the Tigers' shooting droughts. Only when the shots were rolling in (especially the 3s) was Charleston in control.

It's a shame the way this went. The officials took this game over in the 4th quarter and the two ots. Scranton didn't have a single foul called on them from the 6 minute mark and both ots.
