100 meter dash

1. Brandon Cox – Conway (11.08) (10.99) (11.09) (11.34) (11.23) (11.20) (11.18)
Central runner up. He's been the most consistent runner, though. Only 7A runner to go under 11.

2. Basil Rogers – LR Hall (11.07) (11.30) (11.00)
Didn't run the finals at conference. Unless he's injured, he is talented enough to finish top 3

3. Chase Lamers – Rogers (11.23) (11.65) (11.45) (11.15) (11.08) (11.04)
West champ. Ran very well at conference and is progressing nicely

4. Kavin Alexander – North Little Rock (11.26) (11.20) (11.09)
Central champ. He's proven he can beat Cox, so we'll see if he can do it again.

5. Bradly Culp – Fayetteville (11.52) (11.09) (11.14)
West runner up. He has to do multiple events, so we'll see how he holds up

6. Nathaniel Henderson – West Memphis (11.13)
Only ran it once, and didn't run at conference...this guy is a wildcard. Is he injured?

7. Robert Holland – FS Southside (11.40) (11.21) (11.38) (11.27) (11.30) (11.23)
West 3rd place finisher. Has been consistently in the 11.20-11.30 range.

8. Quinta Thomas – LR Catholic (11.23) (11.16) (11.33) (11.24) (11.49)
Central 5th place finisher. He has been a little erratic with his times, but has ran sub 11.30 three times

400 meter dash

1. Justice Anderson – LR Central (50.82) (50.82) (50.74) (53.97) (50.22)
Central champ. Has run under 51 four times. Very consistent

2. Jose Ramirez – Bentonville (53.46) (52.68) (50.19)
West champ. Didn't run an elite time until conference, but running good times now is all that matters

3. Desmond Smith – Bentonville (50.00)
Did not run at conference. 50 flat is a great time, but I can't make myself predict a guy will win the 400 when he hasn't ran it in a month and a half. He could win, though.

4. Elvis Stewart – Conway (51.94) (51.12) (50.93) (50.67) (51.30) (50.89) (50.20) (50.97)
Central 3rd place finisher. Has a lot of experience and has run sub 51 five times

5. Caleb Smith – Rogers (52.90) (52.80) (50.71) (51.35) (51.41) (50.86) (50.90)
West 3rd place finisher. Pretty consistent. Ran sub 51 three times.

6. DJ Alven – Conway (51.95) (51.13) (51.04) (51.07) (51.42) (50.41) (50.42) (51.77)
Central 5th place finisher. Has a lot of experience and has run sub 51 twice.

7. Trey Boyd – Fayetteville (50.88)
West runner up. Could finish a lot higher than this. But lack of experience makes me put him lower.

8. Dijon White – West Memphis (51.75) (51.94) (50.92)
Central runner up. Once again, another runner who could finisher five places higher. This 400 is hard to predict

800 meter run

1. Tevin Whitney – Fayetteville (1:58.61) (1:59.57) (2:00.45) (1:57.56) (1:58.13)
West champ. Unless he runs the 400, this will be his only event other than the 4 x8. I think he can beat Findlay if Findlay runs the 1600

2. Noah Findlay – LR Catholic (1:59.23) (1:56.47) (1:56.13) (1:56.79) (1:59.51)
Central champ. Proved he can run a very fast 1600/800 double.

3. Michael Haynie – Bentonville (2:03.60) (2:11.97) (2:00.77) (2:01.29)
West runner up. This and the 4 x 8 should be his only event.

4. Blake McMillon – Bentonville (2:02.34) (2:01.38) (2:00.22)
Didn't run at conference. I don't know if he will run the 1600/800 at state or not. It seems that Bentonville may need him too. We'll see.

5. Colin O'Mara – LR Catholic (2:01.23) (2:00.42)
Didn't run this at conference, either. Pretty much just like McMillon.

6. Forrest Lair – Cabot (2:11.50) (2:03.06) (2:02.00) (2:01.88)
Central runner up. Doesn't run the 1600 before. So he will be fresh and could easily finish higher.

7. Adams Pryor – LR Catholic (2:03.21) (2:03.28) (2:02.45)
Central 3rd place finisher. 800 is his only event.

8. Caleb DeLaPaz – Cabot (2:09.60) (2:07.98) (2:02.56) (2:03.16) (2:04.18) (2:02.84) (2:05.26)
Central 6th place finisher. He ran the 1600 at conference, which slowed down his 800 time...he qualified in the 1600 but I'm going out on a limb and saying he won't run the 1600 at state.

Projected points after 7/17 events completed

5. Bradly Culp – Fayetteville (21' 6.25") (19' 3.5") (20' 7.5") (20' 6") (22' 4")

1600 meter run

1. Noah Findlay – LR Catholic (4:29.97) (4:24.33) (4:26.46) (4:28.25)
Central champ. Has ran under 4:30 each time out. Has to run a 800 later, but will probably give most everything he has in this race.

2. Aidan Swain – Fayetteville (4:28.88) (4:28.12) (4:29.42) (4:27.79)
West champ. Has ran under 4:30 each time out, also. I don't think he will run the 800 after this, but we'll see.

3. Jerry Melnyk – LR Central (4:28.50) (4:29.60) (5:48.26) (4:29.32)
Didn't run at conference. Has ran under 4:30 except once which is when I'm assuming he was injured. Hasn't ran this race in a while, so hopefully he runs it at state.

West runner up. Has ran under 4:35 four times and under 4:30 once.
