Guys game was called there.  Girls played a shortened game (30 minute halves) that was itself called with about 4:00 on the clock when two girls had a nasty head to head collision and required extensive attention from the training staff.  Arkadelphia was leading 4-0 at the time.

That's a strong showing by PA girls. Looks like they will be one of the top teams in 5A for sure.

Clarksville was controlling the game the whole night, had a lot of possession. They're a strong team this year. The 5A West looks to be very competitive.

I think a few words about Clarksville are in order - for the last few years, Clarksville has not enjoyed much success on the field BUT they certainly kept their numbers up.  For a team that wasn't enjoying a whole lot of success to keep that many kids playing, it seemed inevitable the tide would turn (it was just a matter of when) if the coaches could just keep the players developing. 

Full marks to the Clarksville staff and program (players and coaches) as it seems they may be about to enjoy some success on the field.
