This was your original question.

Correct.  But that was not my original question to you.  I asked you for an explanation after you responded about how much bigger and badder Rivercrest was than Osceola.  That's when I started to get confused about who was actually bigger and badder based on the loss records between you 2 and Newport.  You following me??

Sick Dog

Depends on which osceola teams show up? If they play like they did last week then they have a chance. It didn't see where Osceola was that physical. They have some speed but didn't notice the physical aspect. If the wind is blowing 25 mph then that will hurt the passing game of Charleston like it did Prescott. Thus, Osceola having the advantage cause of what they do on offense. Should be a good one.

Now, the answer to this question is simple.  Another team show up on Friday nights and score more points that night then they gives up.  This has happened to Charleston this year, but it has happen to them before.  See game dated 12-10-2016

oh right the last title game. It's hard to keep up with all of them since we've played in so many. But I'm sure Osceola knows all about that...oh wait

Wow.  So that's how that works?  Correction though.. it has NOT happened to Charleston this year and this year is all that really matters right now anyway.  So I won't bother to ask where Osceola or Rivercrest were on 12-10-2016....

Gotcha.

That's what you wanted to hear?  I believe Newport jumped all over Osceola early. Again, one thing both Team that beat Osceola have in common is they both have size and speed. That don't mean charleston can't win if their team is not build that way.  Heck, I will be pulling for Charleston come Friday night.

Top to bottom.. Prescott has more team speed than Charleston.. And osceola had too many athletes and too much speed for prescott. The same will ring true against Charleston. Yes chuck is a very good team.. And have Playmakers that will make plays. They throw the ball more than prescott which may equal more success against osceola than prescott had. But at the end of the day.. Too much speed. This game goes alot like the prescott game went. Chuck keeps it a little closer with the passing game but come up short 34-20.
And how do we know that Prescott has more team speed than Chuck?

Before attempting to be knowledgeable about the game you should at least check the opposing team out, watch a little film, and maybe know that they are the co-conference champions of the 3-3A...which this year was the toughest in 3A.
Most balanced clearly. Whether it was the toughest is yet to be seen.

This will not be a easy game for Charleston. Charleston confs sucks and osceola will show Charleston how to be physcial, will show them speed and athleticism. They haven't played any tough games but last week. Osceola will show up,hope Charleston does. Osceola by 14+
I don't think youj even checked the schedule. How about Dardanelle and Ozark, two 4-A playoff teams that finished 8-4 and 9-3 respectively? If you want to go by score, the Tigers only beat Paris by 3.

I'll take smart, aggressive, quick, tough, coachable, disciplined, kids all day long over speed and size!  Angles, leverage, good coaching and assignment football will make up for the speed  and size difference.

Calpreps system does have flaws. But they do actually factor in many things to their formula. Hootens balance in history and ad revenue. Calprep has the 3-3A at 11 in state, the only 3A conf ranked above 4A and 5A conferences. 5-3A is the next 3A conf at about 16.

I would bet that the Noles don't have anyone faster than #21 & #25 for Barton. Them little dudes are fast.
Crest shutdown both of those lil dudes down in the first round last season. Osceola has at least 3 faster than those two.

Charleston never overlooks any team. This is a team that always does their homework on the opposing team. They may not have seen much competition in their conference, but they definitely know what they are doing going into playoffs. I would have a little less confidence in the Tigers if this was going to be a road game, but they rarely lose at home. I'm not saying it will be an easy win, but I think the Tigers will take  this in a close one. Safe travels to all the Noles  players and fans.

That statement is 100% inaccurate, all statistical models are NOT based on someone's opinion.  That being said, where CalPreps is concerned I agree it is the case.  The determining factors' results, however, are not an opinion of anyone, nor skewed to benefit anyone.

Actually, I believe it is all based somewhat on someone's opinion of how something should work. Too many mathematical principles have been disproved for me to take a computer at it's word. However, in this case the same principle was used across the board with no favoritism. I got to go with calpreps before hooten.

Osceola was 2-8 last year, and 10-2 this year.  What's been the difference in the turnaround this year? Change in scheme, coaching, new players, that is a pretty dramatic turnaround in one year.

Osceola had far more than 100 people in the stands! You also know there are always just as many people sitting in their cars around the perimeter watching! Prescott did have the karger contingent though!
