I know its early, but wanted to start a thread about 2A players Signing letters of intent in February. Who are some of the 2A players that are committed to a certain school. Or what is their actual offer list. Not who's looking at them. But who's actually offered them. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that 2A players can make a huge impact on a program at any level. Look at Dixon at LA Tech. Or Ced Houston at Tennessee or Tank Daniels at Harding. So it can be done. So what cha got.

mr.gametime

Samuel williams offensive lineman from Bearden is committed to Louisiana Monroe. ...

mr.gametime

Chris Leaks defensive end from Rison has offers from..Central Arkansas and S.F. Austin

mr.gametime

Jackie Harvell running back from Gurdon is committed to Central Arkansas

jbtiger73

Love to see 2 and 3A players shine on the next level. Especially when they get their degree.

The paper today didn't have Mills listed as having signed. And neither does the U.A.M. website.

The 6 was well represented on signing day, with 6 players signing. I believe that only solidifies that the 6 was the best conference this past season. No other 2A conference was close to that.

From what I can find,

Brinkley signed 2 with A.T.U.

Des Arc signed 2 with O.B.U.

Hazen signed 2 with U.A.M.

I can't find where anyone from McCrory signed anywhere. That's puzzling to me.

What about Davis from Cross County?

Or Burks from Lafayette County?

playmaker04

Unfortunately Davis is not eligible to play d-1,2 or 3. He can only play JUCO. Coffeyville offered him then changed coaching staffs and rescended the offer. He's still hoping but the Mississippi JUCO schools can only take 4 out of state players. Student Athletes do what is required to be eligible or you could be on the outside looking in like Davis. Good kid that didn't make good decisions in the classroom.

Unfortunately this happens all too often.  I wish the young man good luck in finding somewhere to play.

I work & attend UCA... Can someone tell me about some of the kids coming here?

Edit... Got bored & did some research.

Jackie Harvell out of Gurdon

I watched the first 4-5 plays of Jackie and I saw enough. That guy could play as a Freshman without a doubt.

LeAndre Rucks out of Strong

Hard to believe with a 6'6 frame and being 180lbs that he didn't get any looks at D1. He looks like a good pass catcher but UCA's website has him listed as a Safety. I'll be looking out for him next season.

I bet these guys have great careers at UCA.

LeAndre Rucks:
1. Good kid.
2. Will be a hard worker.
3. Unselfish teammate.
4. Fast, great hands.
5. With proper mentoring, (learning the ropes in college) will be a great asset to the Bears football program.
