My advocating for a 32 team playoff based on power ranking is pretty well documented.  I don't remember where Bearden was ranked at the end of the regular season, but which other team(s) on this list didn't get a playoff invitation?

Spring hill...I will give you that...they beat parkers Chapel head to head. ...but mineral springs??....they only won 2 games

I know several coaches that think the current playoff system is a joke. The thing is, a power rating system like Louisiana has would be easy to do and it would make for a much more competitive playoff structure.
Basically you get points for a win, it's then put into a formula based on your win loss record and your opponents win loss record. You get points for district champion and district runner up.  District champions automatically qualify but are still seeded based on power ratings.  You also get extra points for playing up in classification.  They also now give the same points for playing out of state competition as well. 
Wouldn't be hard to do but the AAA would have to do some extra work and we all know that's not really their thing.
