I wasn't that good in math but how can Bearden beat Des Arc and be ranked 8th and Des Arc still be 4th?  I'm not saying Bearden should be higher than 8th but I know that Des Arc shouldn't still be 4th.  It's obvious that the AA state title will run through south arkansas this year (JC), but I can't see teams such as Marked Tree and Des Arc even being in the top ten much less top five.  Your thoughts.....................

Wake up and smell the unfairness in the world.........it's their poll.....Anytime you start ranking things, there a first and there is a last....someone and that someone is normal us, is going to take exception(s)....

The only thing that matter is in Dec. when they play that "championship game", then 1 and 2 is determined.....

Not really...Number 1 is determined though.

I'm not sure that you really want to go there.  If I am understanding you correctly, then by your argument, then we wouldn't really know who # 1 is after the championship game.

We have experienced games where the State champion (determine by the playoff method) played a better team (subjective, I know)  in the quarter finals or semi-finals then the one they played for the championship game. This appears to occur in Basketball more often then football, but it happen.

And there is other times when a weaker team got to WMS on the strength of their Coach ie Barton vs JC a few years back.

Which seems to be more historically right Hootens or Arkansas Prep?
