Heat affecting practice

this has been a really hot summer and I was wondering if it affected any teams summer practices... i know there were many instances in the news about players over heating and some dying.. its a tough issue, but it is part of football

It's just a matter of monitoring those in training and hydration. Our soldiers do it every day in Iraq and Afghanistan. Summer football practice is nothing compared to certain forms of military training. Even then it's just knowing the signs of heat exhaustion and hydrate regularly.
