I will tell you what's funny. Alma girls basketball won a single game last year and had two of our solid players transfer out of the district and we scheduled mulbery this year. A 1A school will beat us by 20 at home this year.

The best players in 5A West are in no particular order:

All 5 starters for Clarksville especially the Lee boys
Darian Harris
Alex Rose
Jackson Doshier
Brock Widders
Gage Jensen
Morrilton sophomore (not sure of his name)

That's a pretty good all star team right there.

This Year I would say the sophomore from PA. Also Jacksonville had a stud. The big kid from Forrest city. Those 3 stand out IMO.

Gage Jensen is playing FB at Arkansas Tech.  Brock Widders is playing BB at Lyon College.

Huntsville's Vanessa Burgess!  She was unstoppable in the state tourney even when triple teamed.
