Great Season Warren!

Well it isn't like Lonoke had much going either at the plate. Aside from the inning they scored those runs, they had one runner in scoring position the rest of the game and had one runner reach base on a walk the last three innings. As a matter of fact, by my count Lonoke had no other hits other than in the third inning. I couldn't really tell how difficult the misplays were and if they went down as errors or not, but if they were errors, Lonoke had one less hit than Warren's three.

Great ballgame though and Ervin pitched very well. Obviously knew we'd have our work cut out for us because Lonoke is a great team. Also played mostly without one of our best hitters since he got hurt in the first round of the regional tournament (he did pinch hit, but could barely move, so he couldn't play 1B either.)

We went toe-to-toe with the defending state champs, and a top 5 team in the entire state. If you would have told me that would be the case earlier in the season, I wouldn't have believed you. Heck, with the way we played against Monticello in the second round of regionals, I wouldn't have expected this.

Good luck the rest of the way, personally rooting for Coach Eagle to close another one out now. Being able to pitch Ingle against us and have Eaves for Robinson sets things up nicely.

Didn't see the score mentioned, 3-0 Lonoke over Warren.
