Just got word that Steve Farris, known here as Throwback1 (and whoa.pardner) passed away last night or early this morning.  Steve was from Camden and was a true CF fan.  Our sympathies to his wife and family.
RIP, pardner.

Quite Frankly

Oh my.  I certainly enjoyed TB1(as I called him) and knew he'd had some issues.  Was wondering about him just the other day.

Thanks for sharing this sad news.

Oh I am so sorry.  I really enjoyed him when he posted on here.  I missed his stories about Memphis.

His family and his friends are in my prayers.  I count myself as many on here as his friends also.

Here's to you Throwback!!  Thanks for being my friend on FF.

Sad loss for Fearless! Prayer to family and friends.

Prayers to his family.

Holy cow. That sucks. I don't know about how he was in person, but on here, FF loses a great poster. Sad day indeed. Any word on what happened to him?

Wampus_Cat

That's too bad.

Me and him had a lot of fights on here, but he was always a great guy.

No good. Condolences to the family.

RD™

Oh man!

I met him a few years ago at Camden Fairview Greenwood game.

God Rest his soul and may God bring comfort to his family.

Lanny

Sorry to hear such sad news.

MHSPANTHERS

I'm just now seeing this thread and hearing the news for the first time.  Sad news indeed.

I got to know Steve very well back long along when he was a patrollman and I a dispatcher at the MPD. He was a good guy indeed.

We lost touch as we both moved on.  But, Fearless Friday allowed us to briefly connect with each other again.  For that I am gratefull.

RIP, Steve.  And, may the Lord bless his family.

I used to have him on my myspace... His birthday would have been a couple months back (I think) and I remember trying to find him on my myspace to tell him happy birthday, and never could find him. I guess that explains it. I hadn't heard of it either.

I just asked my dad. He says he remembers Mr. Farris quite well at A.L.E.T.A. And when I told him that he died, his reply was "No Way."

Small world I guess.

Seems like about a year ago that atown passed.

FF loses a great one.  Great guy.  I Only actually met him once, but we communicated quite a bit on here and through PMs and e-mails.  I count him as a friend.

Truly a great loss.

Uncle Ivan

When I was doing the poll for 5A, he always sent me his submission.  Sometimes we'd develop a conversation from that through PM's.

Stand-up guy was what I got from him.  He will be missed.

joepaul03

Very sad to hear that...Even during heated debates, I always enjoyed hearing his thoughts and opinions on everything.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Drama Mama ™

Very sad to hear.  Many prayers to his family.

Car wreck I believe.

I believe Atown passed due to some heart or lung or health related conditions right?
