is Moore from NLR going anywhere?

arkhoops94

Moore hasn't committed anywhere yet but he has offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Evansville, and Tulsa and he visited Kansas in February.

BigLion10

I remember when he was in 8th and 9th grade at Conway and I knew then he would go D-1 somewhere. Where is Providence academy?

Missing some.

2016
Austin Reaves - Cedar Ridge
Biggie Goldman - From Lincoln, Headed to prep school. I know he wont be IN Arkansas this season. But he is an Arkansas Kid.

2017
Salisu Yahaya - Jonesboro
Matt Stanley - Cabot
Marquis Eaton
Daniel Gafford is a high major player. Much better than #10.
And I think Czar Perry could be argued into the top 10

Good list, just my opinion on players that could definitely be mentioned. Arkansas basketball is getting better and better. College coaches are started to flock to the natural state. More so than ever before.

Honestly i dont think Reeves makes this list or Biggie. I think Casey Bentons a little high.  Also anybody know the kid from LR catholic from 2017.

Reaves and Biggie both hold D1 offers? Both getting interest from high major programs?

Adding weight. Getting stronger. Needs this extra year. Prep school is a pretty common practice in the east and in the north. It hasnt caught on as much in the south. Its very beneficial for a variety of kids

Lrbasketballguru

I'd have jones at no. 9 and move the others up. Very good player and more athletic than korita or robinson, but not as skilled i don't think

arkhoops94

I agree with you. All of those players could be mentioned in the Top 10, Czar Perry, Yahaya, and Eaton are all great players. There's so much talent in Arkansas. A lot of people overlook or don't know about BJ Thompson from England, 2a school. 6'9 PF that plays for the Arkansas Soldierz AAU team. He is picking up interest from Arkansas auburn and Creighton along with Javon Franklin.

I agree if u want to see a really good player go watch england play this season and bj Thompson in the middle

arkhoops94

Also Khalil Garland is #52 in the ESPN top 60 in the Nation. Deion Dobbins is #140 in the Future150 national rankings. Two big time players with 2 years of high school ball left.

BigLion10

Garland is a real good player

arkhoops94

I think you are talking about Ibrahim Ali, 6'10 center. Hes had trouble with his knee but I think everything is good now. I expect him to have a great season for catholic this year

The kid Exavian Christon should be on that 2017 list. If he's not now he will be this year. The kid can play with the best

BigMan15

Theres a few kids that are just outside of this list but could by the end of the year including Matt Thomas and Brandon Fenner

MA

Biggie Goldman got offers from Boston College and Sam Houston St on Friday. Now has 3 D1 offers to his name including a high major. Not gonna argue with anyone lol just thought the state might want to know about one of its guys. He's playing with Team Texas this July.

Good for him and best of luck!! I hope he does great!

Salisu Yahaya - Jonesboro received an offer from Tulsa today, to go along with his Lehigh offer. Several Arkansas kids receiving offers today.

ricepig

Salisu Yahaya and Ben Harvey, both 2017, have been offered by ASU.

arkhoops94

Tremont Robinson 2017 offered by LSU & UMass, also receiving interest from Florida. Daniel Gafford 2017 offered by Kansas, Florida, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, Louisiana Tech, UCA, and Arkansas. Big time prospects that performed very good at the EYBL Peach Jam. Robinson led the Eybl in steals with 4.7 per game

mdctb123

Where is Tremont going to school this fall?

Basketballfan13

I saw on twitter where Austin reaves received an offer from Utah state, and Gonzaga asst coach has been to the wings last 8 games to watch him play.

Bigman15 you are right, by the end of the year Fenner & Thomas could possibly be in the mix for c/o 2017. I would also add Ethan Bowman from Ozark in the group with Thomas and Fenner. The bowman kid didn't play last year due to a broken arm in the beginning of the season, but should have a breakout year this year. Great player. Expecting big things from Fenner and Thomas as well.

Eagle20

Many of you were skeptical of Connor Vanover about a year and a half ago when I was singing his praises.  Some of you said he would not make it but he is proving you naysayers wrong.  He is starting to become more consistent against top competition  and his freakish skills and size (7'3")  don't come around very often!  I Think he is no. 25 on ESPN 2018.  He won a gold medal this summer with team USA under 16 (top 12 players from the class of 2017 and 2018) and has received offers from Ole Miss, Alabama, and Arkansas in the past month. Many offers will follow and he will be the most recruited player in the class of 2018. Crawford said the other day he has a chance to be a McDonalds all-american. I agree with that synopsis.   Btw, he just came off his freshmen season where he was a top 5 player in class 4A as voted on by the coaches, made all-state, and led his team to the 4A final four.  He has 3 more years in high school to develop strength and he works at it.   Every other facet of his game is solid to great!  Sky is the limit for that guy!

Gafford has to be the top player in the class of 2017 right now in light of his performance at the Peach Jam where many recruiting analysts are moving him into their top 50.  He was a beast there averaging a double double for the tourney.

I also want to say that I think Spencer Reeves is as good a guard as there is in the state besides Monk being in a class by himself.  I could see him playing at Gonzaga or another school of that caliber.  He had 30 in the finals or semifinals at the great american shoutout last weekend where his team won the NBA division.

ricepig

Kobe Wilson, Jonesboro (2018) has received an off from ASU.

Silky Johnson

Think you meant Austin Reeves
Also i think this is just an attempt at john Brady keeping his job offering Harvey and Wilson scholarships an there could be more soon. Nothing against Wilson as I heard we would've started and played many minutes had he not gotten hurt last year but having not played a game at JHS and getting a scholarship seems a tad premature.

Brady isn't staying past this year, he's even already sold his house. As far as the offers, they won't mean anything with a coaching change, so they have a caveat.
