Questions.....
What course is home to the 4-4A teams?
Ozark is, of course, Ozark Recreation Assoc or commonly known as Ozark Country Club.
I assume:
Dover plays at Russellville CC...
Subi..no home course...?
Dardanelle is Lion's Den.
Pottersville is Galla Creek.

Ark Bapt is Pleasant Valley?
Clinton is Red River?
Robinson is Rebsamen?

I know Ozark & Ark Baptist boys will return strong teams from last year.
How is everyone looking for next fall?

Can someone share with me what are the ranges of scores do Varsity golfers typically shoot at the different classifications in Arkansas?

Is there a cutoff to qualify for state?

Thanks..

Low 70s to upper 90s for 18 holes and Mid 30s to upper 40s/low 50s for 9 holes is what I've seen throughout the years in Boys 4A.
There is not a score cut off as far as I know. Top 2 teams plus next top 5 or so best scores all go to state. Cant remember the actual number.

Boys 4A State site will be Valley View in Prairie Grove/Farmington. Both schools use it as their home course. It was the site of the last 2 1-4A Conference Tournaments. Ozark's SR to be John Edgin was medalist in both those tournaments as a Soph & JR and also at The Creeks his Freshman year.
Although Ozark moves to the 4-4A, they will have a lot of experience at Valley View, provided that they make it there, with 3 returning from last year's 1-4A conference tournament champions.
The 4-4A will be tough with the addition of Ozark & Ark Baptist (last year's state champions) not to mention long time 4-4A members Dardanelle & Pottsville.
Ready for golf season!

Robinson is Hindman.
Thanks. What kind of team are they going to have this fall?

Subi generally uses Clarksville CC.

Thx. That's what I thought.
Ozark played their first match Monday at Russellville CC. Front 9 against Dover & Dardanelle. Ozark boys won by 37
and the girls won by 25. Ozark's SR John Edgin shot -1 34 to medal for the boys and SR Emery King shot 42 to medal for the girls.
Quite a change in competitiveness from the 1-4A.
Next up 18 holes next Monday at Valley View in Farmington.
HPRD!
