Three of the last four times EPC has been to the title game, they have been given a lousy time slot on Thursday.  These kids are in the biggest game of their lives and the arena will be less than a third of capacity.  A significant number of fans cannot attend and the atmosphere is simply not what a championship game should be.  For all of the fans near Jonesboro, 92.7 will carry the games. I have wondered for years why the AAA didn't have two weekends of finals so that all games could be on Friday or Saturday.

I wish it was like Texas with different weekends for championships. Girls one weekend and boys the other.

Title IX fear has this thing set up boy/girl/boy/girl.  I fail to see how giving each their on weekend would be wrong, but people are so afraid.

If we didn't have 40 divisions & maybe 4, which would be about right for a state our side, all could be played late Friday afternoon & Saturday. JMO

Seven divisions so the AAA can get more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Look at Tennessee and Missouri, they don't have seven classes. Less classifications would stop the stupid realignment that is going on. If small A schools have to play AA , they might as well just set new student numbers and go back to four or five divisions.
