Last night was senior night at Siloam.  One of our senior girls that has been a mainstay on our team since her freshman year.  Started varsity her first year, set school scoring records, two time state tournament MVP,  Narthwest Arkansas Democrat Gazette player of the year last year. She tour her ACL at a club showcase tournament this February just before the school season started.  Short story, no school season.  Bad deal.

Russellville came to town for the second of our two conference games.  These two teams have beat on each in both conference play and playoffs for several seasons now.  The lady Cyclones have probably had their fill of the girl mentioned due to her goal scoring capabilities.

Coach let her dress out and take the opening kickoff of the game last night for senior night.  Pretty much the only time she will see the field this season.  She did the opening touch and we kicked the ball out of play so she could leave the field for her last hoorah. After they stopped the clock so she could exit the field she walked to the Russellville side to shake the coach's hands and thank them for the years of great competition. While doing this the entire Russellville bench and every Russelllville player on the field surrounded her in a circle to show her their respect.

Mad props Lady Cyclones.  You will forever have our respect.  We appreciate your heart on the field and your respect for the game.  May you be blessed with a healthy and successful future.
