Whatever team you follow predict how you see them finishing game by game and a prediction on how they might finish in their conference and how far they will go in the playoffs. I will start with Cedarville. I think they will be one of the more improved teams in 3A in the win column.... playing in the 1-3A will be what helps bring the win column up mostly.

Mountainburg: 49-14 W (1-0)
Dover: 28-21 L (1-1)
@Lincoln: 28-21 W  (2-1)
Greenland: 35-28 W (3-1)
@Green Forest: 42-28 W (4-1)
West Fork: 28-21 L (4-2)
@Elkins: 35-21 W (5-2)
Marshall: 42-21 W (6-2)
@Yellville Summit: 35-7 W (7-2)
Mountain View: 28-27 W (8-2)

I think they finish anywhere between 6-4 and 8-2 so I went homer like everyone will for their team and went on the high side. They will get 2nd in the 1-3A and coming out of that conference you still will have trouble winning in the playoffs but I will say they win one playoff game and lose in the 2nd round. I hope to see other people's predictions of their team.

Two Rivers:
Hackett - Win
Perryville - Win
Atkins - Win
Booneville - Loss
Lavaca - Win
Charleston - Loss
Mansfield - Loss
Paris - Loss
Lamar - Loss
Danville - Win

5-5 is pretty optimistic at this point, due to the lack of depth on the o-line, but I think it could be a solid season. I think the Lavaca, Mansfield, Paris, and Danville games could go either way

beach bum

The 4-3A will be very interesting 4-8.... There were tons of tight games bunched between those 5 schools. All 5 will be going into this season thinking they can get one of those final two playoff spots.

If that qb of yalls can stay healthy then it's a possibility....

Hope so. And Doc has had at least 8 wins each year he has been there, so at least that is a safe guess.

AT

Alma

vs. Fort Smith Southside - Loss - Although the best time to get Southside is early in the season, I still don't think the Airedales are able to keep Southside's defensive line at bay. I think they are in Alma's backfield a lot with a young offensive line. I could see it being a close game, though.

vs. Springdale - Win - It's at home, which helps, and I do think Coach Clark will bring in a more winning atmosphere there, but I think Alma catching them early and having confidence of beating them last year helps. I think it's close.

vs. Harrison - Win - New head coach again for the Airedales to face in the early season. I think Alma beats them by at least 17 points.

@ Little Rock Catholic - Win - Hard to predict to beat a team that beat the Airedales at home last year, but I think with Alma having one year of 7A/6A play under their belt, they come out and beat the Rockets. Catholic's small offensive line will play into Alma's more experienced defensive line I think. I see either a close Alma win or a two touchdown win.

@ Siloam Springs - Win - Once again, I'm predicting a win against a team that beat Alma last year. This will be the first game that actually matters towards the playoffs and the Airedales will be seeking revenge for last year's heartbreaker. Siloam does love to give Alma a tough time, though. A close win.

vs. Bryant - Loss. I'm not sure how experienced Bryant will be, but I think their size and balanced offense will prove difficult for the Airedales. I see it being a close loss.

vs. Conway - Loss - I just don't see Alma beating the Wampus Cats. I don't think it will be as bad as last year with it being at home and them losing that stud running back, but that quarterback killed the Airedales too.

@ Russellville - Win - Toss-up would be more appropriate here. Tough road game against an opponent where the game always comes down to the last possession. New, winning coach who will have experience with his team by this point. It could very well just be decided by a couple of bounces.

@ Van Buren - Win - I think this game will be exciting again. Van Buren returns a lot of good offensive talent. After their disappointing performance against the Airedales last season, Van Buren will even have more of an edge for this game. New coach who knows that beating Alma is a huge thing at Van Buren. I say Alma wins a close one. Airedales pull away at the end.

vs. Greenwood - Loss - Close loss.

Clara Allen

Warriors 9-1
but i won't say where the loss will be

If there is a slip up in Charleston's schedule I would have to think it would be in one of the first 2 games. Two great teams out of the 4a. Tigers will have a lot to prove in those first two games. I think they'll come out and prove they are a true contender for another title run. Although they may not be pretty, I think the Tigers come out 2-0. As far as the conference play goes,I believe the tigers also come out undefeated. I think the team with the best chance of beating the Tigers is Lamar. We know the history of the officiating at Lamar. Even with these things stacked against the Tigers I believe they head into the play offs undefeated and get another shot at the Rock!!! I believe the Tiger O is going to roll again this year. I believe Rowland is going to shock some people and our skills players are going to be something special. Look for Wisdom and Flanagan to make a huge impact this year. However our D is what is going to bring us through the season. These guys should be solid. Wade, Binz, Ketter, Singleton, Loughridge "The Hammer" Hampton. Will all be forces to rekon with. I think they're gonna shock some people.

Get'em Get'em Tigers!!!!!

Proud Buckaroo

I don't think you guys are going to be a passing team this year.

Tigers will definitely be more run oriented, but they'll still sling it around.

Mc gehee won't be the same without one of their star running backs if not the best, but they will still make a playoff run IMO

We will lose one from last year.  He will be replaced with a 6'6 325 man.   The entire offensive line will be seniors this year.
