Prairie Grove vs. Charleston next year

These two will play week 2 next year. Gentry is no longer playing Charleston week 2 and Prairie Grove had an open date so its on. Prairie Grove was solid 2011-2013 but will just be decent.  Charleston will more than likely take this matchup. Prairie Grove will more than likely finish as the 2 or 3 seed in the 1-4A next year but the league won't be very good. Overall, a very nice non conference game. I have always respected Charleston and been intrigued by their program.

If true it could turn out to be an interesting series.

I thought Gentry was under contract through 2015. Perhaps something was worked out to change that.

I know after the Junior High went up there this year, the Charleston coaches said something about how they would never bring their Senior High up there again for Gentry to hire their own cheating refs. Anyone who has seen Charleston-Gentry games in Gentry knows what I'm talking about. Charleston has had more touchdowns called back there than anywhere else

Pretty good schedule, probably quite a bit of away games this year also.

Bville this year played @Ozark, @Dardenelle, @Paris, @Lamar, @Charleston, @Prescott and then @Charleston again.

I had heard this info from a former PG coach who stays in touch with the staff at PG. I think it would be a neat series to keep in the future. I know the talent is not quite there at PG the next 3 or 4 years. They will still be decent. Like a 3 seed type team. It will be a solid tune up for Charleston's late season date with Booneville. PG likes to play old school football under Coach Abshier like the Bearcats. I think it would benefit PG for its game with Shiloh... It will benefit both teams.

I think this game is still being played. The AAA website has it posted but the fearless schedule page does not? It still says Charleston is playing Gentry week 2 when I believe Gentry is playing Decatur.... Just a little bit of a downgrade going from Charleston to Decatur for Gentry huh?
