Why is it that we don't have any juco teams here in arkansas?

Because softball and  baseball are low income high expenditure sports. Most of your JUCO's here in Arkansas are dependent on local population to be their clientele and they don't have extra money to spend on sports that bring in little to no revenue

Sadly that is the truth. I coached at Juco in Florida last year in a small town in the panhandle. I want to say the population was like 12,000 people. They had Men's/Women's basketball programs and Baseball/Softball programs. I feel it would be beneficial to the D1 and D2 schools here in the state to be able to recruit kids in there own backyard instead of having to travel far.

Your kid was too good to ever consider it anyway. :)  Miss seeing you brotha!

And as far as my kid she is going to a JUCO school in the panhandle of Florida next season. Can't wait to spend the weekends at the beach. :)  Oh and watching softball of course. lol
