Good ol' Dhop.

Wasn't it Ball and Kennedy who were heavily added to the mix in that game?

Yea they've came up big time as freshman in that game

I just hope the personal foul stuff is behind this Dragon bunch.

This is the third season (OOC, Conference, Playoffs) and now is when that kind of stuff can really hurt.

Goose0

Going with the upset this week HA by 3.

I'm with you Bleu. I hear the coaches have really been stressing this....

All roads go through Chucktown on our side of the bracket. Gracias amigo CHSTigerFan. :)

If Chucktown and the team I'd like to see make it both advance to the point where they play each other, that game would be in L A (Lower Arkansas).  :)

You would rather see Chuck vs JC, than Prescott vs JC??:)

What does it matter,  you're likely either playing Prescot, your playing the team that beat Prescott, or your playing the team that beats the team that beat Prrescott.

My point was as long as the Dragons take care of business, they can play games on Muse Field at Carpenter Stadium until week 15.

It does matter, as some teams matchup better against each other.

Since 01

JC has 183 wins
HA has 177 wins.

Big time matchup
Lots of playoff wins for these two as well.  I assume they rank somewhere around 3 and 4 all-time behind Nashville and Barton.

Actually JC didn't have as many as I thought, still top 10 though.

What sticks out to me (assuming FF has good numbers) is 56 wins in 20 appearances. In other words, JC's average win total per playoff appearance year has been 2.8 games.  And that includes a few byes.  They usually stay awhile.

This should be a good game I'm calling JC pulling out the win. I pray for safe travels and and injury free game.

Looking forward to it. I know I'd be limited, but any place in town to grab a bite?

https://www.facebook.com/RedRoofYum/  (assuming you're not philosophically opposed to driving a few blocks into Louisiana)

https://www.facebook.com/therockincajuntamale/  (Same caveat but closer to the state line)

McDonalds C-Store (no golden arches but they do have a deli)

Concession stand at the game is good.

Only Red Roof has inside seating

If you have plenty of time, Hollis' Buffet (all you can eat catfish and such) in Spearsville or Moon's (best dang steak in the state that comes from a combination steak place and liquor store) between Summerfield and Homer.

If you're coming from up north, they're plenty of places in El Doradeaux.

Or, the city park adjoins the stadium,  come early, bring your grill and do a little tailgating.

I don't know PB 50-14 not that far off. The average score on JC this year has been 14.2 pts a game and that's been with the subs playing a lot....😉

Might as well start this off right....

I feel you on that. but, JC's most questionable part of their defense is the secondary. Simply because they haven't played a PURE passing team like Harding with two big receivers.

Then again maybe HA hasn't played a defense like JC's either. They do put a lot of pressure on the QB......

D-lineman4 life

I think the key for JC defense is going to be how much pressure they can apply with the down line cause if they bring a LB on a blitz it's going to be a miss match somewhere

I almost got crucified by my fellow JC posters when I sided with the officials in the JC vs McGhee thread..........but these guys here............. A kid just got called for holding with his back to the receiver.  Wasn't great defense, but somehow it was incomplete and the laundry was flying.

Astate37

JC not being the smartest with regards to the field position game, need not voluntarily give HA short fields (onside kick and no punt on 4th and long).

Coach Jones is living and dying by that.  I hated it at first, but love it now.  The kids bought in and feed off of it.
